Sanaan Shamsi initiated Un'th Studios during his 3rd year of university, he is a  CG generalist with over fifteen years of freelance work experience, Sanaan graduated from Indus Valley School with a degree in Fine Arts, majored in Painting. Being homeschooled as a child, he devoted all of his time to the 3D world, flourishing his creativity and becoming an astounding self-taught artist. If that hasn’t stunned you already…he actually started using 3D applications from the age of nine, back when there were no such materials to learn from. In fact, (really now, this won’t even be shocking anymore) he had already dreamed of creating Un’th by the age of fourteen. Being so consumed by his love for art and everything 3D, he was also a crazy gamer and believes it all started from there…or rather, his interest was merely sparked by curiosity, and that the flair wasn’t difficult to distinguish. His creativeness even branches out to other forms of art as he admires poetry and definitely loves bragging about it. ‘World of Warcraft’ surely did complement his ‘raid leading’ skills into reality since he continues to encourage and push the team forward to improvement as the CEO of Un’th Studios.

Here’s a fun fact: “I used to have this old coin that I showed around to people and told them that when we launch our company, I would take it out and keep it on my desk, and say I’d always known we could do it. I used to brag a lot about this to everyone I knew…And this is the moment when I get to brag about it the most. Now, you’ll think I’ll tell you that I have it but I actually lost that stupid coin soon after, unfortunately. I still try convincing people I have the coin though…but no one believes me.”

A diligent and dedicated CG generalist who has been professionally working in the CGI field for over seven years, Talha believes hard work beats all and that with patience, you can achieve the unimaginable. (Even if you get completely frustrated at times and attempt to break things) It is not surprising then, that his mentoring skills are so promising and admirable. Nothing is more exciting for him than a good competition and thus, he continues to prove himself a worthy 3D artist and a great ‘Tank’. (Any ‘World of Warcraft’ player will know the importance of a Tank in raids…and how they get blamed for everything, let’s be honest). Even as a child he was carrying out the COO designation quite well; having all the younger kids and siblings go about efficiently and making sure they’re having fun. Along with that, he’s an amazing storyteller and had always dreamt of conveying his stories with the help of the 3D visual world. He dropped out of ACCA and became a remarkable self-taught artist who now wants Un’th to be the platform for creativeness and originality, one that exceeds expectations. He is a movie fanatic and a crazy gamer. And apart from being so passionate and talented, he has another very unique skill: he can sleep at any time of the day…for as long as he wants. (He also claims that it’s the time when he gets new ideas so there’s no stopping him.)

Here’s a fun fact: “The first time I completed a model, I showed it to Sanaan and he said, “delete it, it’s horrible.” I remember I got so angry that I literally almost broke my computer and threw the keyboard at him.

She is an emerging scenarist and an aspiring digital artist, Malheena is one of the youngest team members at Un’th. She has the innate talent to craft mere ideas into mesmerizing pieces of work, sculpting her words into visual narratives. Being a movie fanatic and a literature student, she found herself engulfed in writing screenplays for Un’th from a very young age. Her passion for animation was ignited because of the environment that she grew up in, watching 2D and 3D animated films and playing video games, and how can we forget? World of Warcraft and its relation to life. Her interest developed when she stumbled across a Maya book in her brothers’ room through which she learned the basics, and later polished and refined the art of animation under the tutelage of Pakistan’s renowned animator Yunus Ali Changezi.

Here’s a fun fact: “For years now I have somehow remembered almost every dialogue from Snow damn White, not because it’s my favorite or anything but because as a toddler, every time my brothers wanted me distracted they would put on Snow White and tell me it’s a cool new movie… And I would believe them…that’s how I ended up watching it a gazillion times.”

With a professional experience of over seven years of working as an accountant, Ehsan has a Masters degree in Chemistry and initially began as a teacher while self-funding his studies since 10th grade. This only proves how determined and ready he was to take any challenges thrown his way. Although his work related life might sound complex, he worked his way through with patience and dedication, and ventured about into all kinds of professions, really, from Chemistry to Computers to textile printing to accounting…and finally ending up as the CFO and FX artist at Un’th Studios. Having been a banker doesn’t mean he’s just limited to numbers, but his interest also expands to movies and gaming. Since gaming has been brought up, (let’s take a deep sigh) It’s almost an obligation now to mention ‘World of Warcraft and its connection to life’. A ‘Healer’ keeps check on everyone in a raid and all depends on them, likewise, being the CFO demands the same duties; maintaining balance, checking up on financial matters and saving a raid group from being wiped out. The best part is that the CEO, COO and CFO used to play together, having known each other for about fourteen years. The story of how they met is unlike any other…yes, he actually tutored the CEO and COO (Sanaan and Talha) for O-levels. Yeah, they were basically playing WoW with their teacher. So you can imagine how they studied.

Here’s a fun fact: “I called my wife and asked her to tell me a fun fact about myself, since I was confused, and after an hour of random chitchat, there was no conclusion. But then it dawned on me the moment I saw a cockroach heading my way…I am still terrified of cockroaches…like hell.
